Hello, my name is Patricia Bond by marriage but I was born Patricia “Pat” McKennie. I was born, raised, and educated on the near west side of Chicago, Illinois. I attended the Chicago Public School system and graduated with a large class.

I’ve been married to Pastor Keenan Bond (Holy Corinthian MBC) for ten years. As a family unit, we parent six adult children and are grandparents to seven. I currently work for the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier and as a Licensed Hairdresser within the salon that I have owned for over 38 years. I received my education at Pivot Point Beauty School.

One of my personal goals in life was giving birth to a baby girl, Dhaysha. I never dreamed, thought, or imagined I could, and she is currently 25 years old. One of my main personal goals was to never give up, a lesson I learned from my parents at an early age.

In life, my mission statement is, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13). I rely on Christ and His strength for victory. I never rested in my circumstances but God continually propelled me with hope. I value being a Christian, a parent, loved and loving, peace, relationships, and pleasantness. I could go on, but I value the love that God has for me as His daughter. I love to laugh, laugh, and then laugh some more. I have many jokes but not sure where they come from. Now that’s funny!

Someone asked, ‘what are your interests?’ They ask because I’m boring, I love being home. I love to cook, babysit, and dote on my fur babies. I’m interested in growing my relationship with Christ, witnessing His miracles, and being the best spiritual daughter I can be to Him. I’m in love with the Trinity. I love singing and playing the piano at home.

Born and raised in Holy Corinthian MBC under the leadership of Pastor C.T. Baker, it is only the work of the Lord that I have returned with all of my other church members to become the First Lady. Never in a million years did I think I would love everyone, but I love you all.
